It is always a lot easier to teach a puppy the right things to do when they are young, but it is not impossible to eliminate the bad habits of an older dog. The trainer uses a simple clicker that can be purchased from most pet stores and the dog is trained to respond to the sound of the clicker. The dog will quickly learn that the sound of the clicker is followed by a reward and they will respond to commands when the clicker is used knowing that a reward is to follow.

Just like their owners, dogs can suffer from allergies too. Some of these allergies can be related to the foods that they eat where some of the cheaper brands of dog food have coloring and preservatives that can cause allergic reactions. If this is the case then it is a process of eliminating those foods that have the ingredients that cause the reactions.
